Pearly Whites

Hammie continues to grow, impressing us daily with feats of strength and wit. Of course some developments are simply milestones that must be reached in the process to becoming a person and even proud parents have a hard time spinning them off as signs of intellectual and physical superiority. That being said, Hammie has rallied Herculean strength and grown her first teeth.

The first tooth appeared about a week ago and others are beginning to follow. I had to take about 20 pictures while Lina made funny noises before documentation of the pearly white could be made. Here's the best pics of the tooth.

Pie Town

Last week Hammie finally touched down in Pie Town for the first time. It was great having everyone together and Hammie was of course showered with attention. We got suspicious when Hammie spit out her first taste of pie with a look of disgust. No child of mine could possibly dislike pie and if Hammie's second taste has the same effect Lina will have some explaining to do.

The Promised Land and Root-beer Floats

Goldie Locks (aka Peter) has been with us for the duration of the journey. He's a short of live in manny (that's a man nanny) and Hammie is quite taken by his blue eyes and flowing hair.

Foggy Sunrises and Sin City

HÃ¥kan and Peter have left back for Sweden and Hammie, Lina and I have set off on the next part of out adventure. It was a great trip and I'm sure that the Swedes will be wishing they where back in the USA when they get back to cold snowy Sweden. Here are a few pics from the trip with more to come soon.

Our "incredible" sunrise view from Father Crowley Point. We drove a bit out of our way the night before just to wake-up to this spectacular sunrise over the Panamint Valley; the fog was so thick we could barely see the road we were drove on to get there.
