God-Farmer Chris

Hammie has been helping out her God-Father around his farm.  She is particularly fond of feeding the chickens.

Cracking Up

I've got 10 days left until I see my girls again.  It feels like a long time and I can't wait until they arrive.
Here is a photo I found on an old sd card.  Hammie obviously finds something Chris just said hysterical.

The Godfather

We have had the luxury of a two week visit from Little Chris.  During his stay we toured him around some climbing areas and had him sample Swedish cuisine but I think his favorite thing was being woken-up early by Hammie every morning.  Chris returned to the USA a few days ago and is sorely missed.  We look forward to the next trip.

Here are some pictures of Hammie and her Godfather.

Hammie can't believe what just happened in the book we've read to her 100 times.  Must be because Chris doesn't read Swedish.

Chris really wanted to get Hammie a kitty.  While Hammie loved the idea Lina and I had to keep our eyes on Chris so a cat didn't "mysteriously" appear in our bags.

Body Guards

Hammie has been collecting an army of able young men to protect her from whatever perils life may throw at her. They are attentive and loyal and roughly 12 years from now I'll be calling on them to intimidate any prepubescent boy that steps within 10 meters of Hammie. Here are a few of the recruits.

Parting Shots

Here's a couple pics from Hammie's farewell to some family from the States. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Autumn, and Godfather Chis met with us in Socorro to say goodbye. After eating Hammie was in a splendid mood and showed off her running skills to appease her adoring fans.

Guess who's the center of attention
